We developed the electronics and programming for Hermès GB’s SS 2018 windows. Aptly themed “Mischievous Machines”, the windows contained hundreds of fans and DC Motors, choreographed to create a captivating display.

In order to deal with the variety of motors, we designed and manufactured a custom motor controller board. Each controller board can drive a single motor at a chosen voltage. The choreography of the window can be controlled through a single file on an SD card, making it simple to perform changes for each window’s unique design.
