About

Launched in 2019 by Andy Sheen and Mike Vanis, VAST is a technology and engineering consultancy that can find creative solutions to tough problems. We work with brands, cultural institutions and research organisations, helping our clients with electronics, programming, CAD, and physical design.

Andy has a background in electronics engineering, audio processing, and computer science. Mike has a background in physical interaction design, industrial design, and computer science. We have worked together on consumer products including the Tech Will Save Us range and the BBC micro:bit, as well as physical experiences for Hermes, National History Museum, Google, and Miller Lite.
